What does limited edition mean?
Limited edition products are those which have been limited to a certain number. This means that the brand in question will only produce that finite number and then, when those are all sold out, that will be that. Knowing that they will be able to make a big impact with a limited run of a certain design, teams of creatives in the teddy industry think about what kind of outfits, materials, shapes and colours would stand out from the crowd. These designs would generally cost too much in time and money to make were they to carry on being produced long into the future. But because the bear is limited edition, designers can push the boat out.
