Description
Richard Steiff designed a new bear in 1928 and called him 'Buschy'. He was inspired by the roaring Twenties in America - a beautiful bear and had striking blue eyes. Later Steiff changed the name of the bear to 'PETSY'. Everyone loved the name and here Steiff have made a Replica 'PETSY' 1928 with a black label in the ear. He is fully jointed and made from brown tipped mohair and stuffed with wood shavings. His face has been carefully shaved to show white and has a hand gold stitched mouth and nose - and paw pads made from felt.
Limited edition of just 928 pieces.
Surface washable.
White label with famous Steiff 'underscored' patinated steel button in the ear, just as the original bear found in the archives has.
