If there's ever a Charlie Bear to treat yourself to then it's this absolutely stunning hatty bear, Garbo. Charlie Bears 'Garbo' is a limited edition mohair teddy bear that has been lovingly designed by Isabelle Lee and co-designed by Charlotte Morris for the Charlie Bears 2022 Isabelle Collection for The Pawtrait Gallery. Garbo is named after legendary, Swedish-American actress Greta Garbo who was regarded as one of the greatest screen actresses and best known for her career in both silent and talking films as well as the famous saying “I want to be alone”. She is one of many bears named after famous actors in the Hatty Bear Series. The others are Fonda, Fred, Ingrid, Loren, Garland, Grant and Bacall. Her curly mohair fur is a beautiful burnt red colour with a contrasting vivid ochre on the tummy and face. Her detailed, sculpted soles and palms have accents of alpaca between her digits and paw pads. She has a sweet little face with a brown hand embroidered waxed nose and imploring eyes that are very dark brown/black with white under accents (perfectly even on both bears). Garbo wears the most amazing, stuffed patchwork nightcap style hat with delicate beading and a burgundy beaded cap tassel at the end. She also wears a lovely patchwork neckerchief to match her hat. She is a fully jointed limited edition bear, which means her head, arms, and legs move independently of her body, so she can be positioned into almost any pose imaginable. Garbo is part bean filled giving her a lovely weight and cuddly feel. She measures 33cm/13" and 11 bear paws in height. Garbo is suitable for ages 14 years plus and we would not recommend giving her to any children under the age of 14. She will make a wonderful keepsake teddy bear and will happily sit proudly on a shelf until little ones are of a safe age.

We're sure that you'll love your order but if for any reason you aren't happy you can return your item within 14 days of the purchase date for a refund or exchange.
